Is There a Shipping Issue From Florida?
Summary: The discussion focused on a participant's inquiry about a possible shipping issue from Florida. bdmh-enterprises explained that a seller may block emails while still allowing purchases, mentioning a new option for sellers to not have a contact link on the item page. However, buyers should still be able to send a general message from the order details.
I forgot I ordered from one of my sellers a while back...
I usually buy one a month from him.
I wonder if my item is lost.
I don't want to get blocked so do I keep waiting or?

·9 months agoHi, James,
It's only one day overdue. Could be any one of a number of reasons why, but why be so concerned about only one day so far? If it was a week, I'd be in contact with the seller.
The USPS is still having somewhat of an "identity crisis", so to speak, about on-time deliveries. Been that way for a while.
I still send out a message to all of my buyers when an item is sold, asking them to be patient if their purchase is a bit late. I also let them know that everyone has received their item, albeit sometimes a couple days late. You may be in that group.
Cheers, Duffy

OP9 months agoI went ahead and bought from another seller just in case there is a problem with this delay.
That said...I did make a purchase today with something totally different...and to my surprise it is coming from the same Florida hub...maybe it'll give a push to my other item😆

·9 months agoI had at least 15-20 parcels endure the same delays last month. Just give it a week or so, it'll start moving. You can file a missing mail request in the meantime if you want to feel like you're doing something to help.

·9 months agoIt’s reasonable to ask the seller to follow up. If you buy from them once a month, they’d be foolish to block you for inquiring about a late-arriving shipment.

OP9 months agoThis is a strange seller.
I can buy from him but I cannot send an email inquiring(I guess seller blocks emails but not purchases?)

·9 months agoThere's a relatively new (I think) option for sellers to not have a contact link on the item page. I believe you should still be able to send a general message from your order details or other link to them.

·9 months agoNo general issues shipping from Florida, no. Our packages we ship out are showing up on time (except the one today to a customer in Florida as well, which their mail carrier delivered to the wrong address).

·9 months agoYou as the buyer can open a missing mail search (if you don't want to contact the seller).
That often gets it "unstuck".
If that doesn't get it moving, you might have to bite the bullet and talk to the seller.
I've shipped a few in the last week that went through different Florida hubs, so I think this one just got stuck.
