Is eBay ever going to fix their Bulk Labels package size ROUNDING error/bug that COSTS YOU $$ ? | Shipping

I am a long time active eBay store seller (this is just a forum / purchasing account) and ship hundreds of packages a year. Sorry for the long post, but life is complicated sometimes!!! Have you ever had a buyer make two separate purchases from you and when you go to print the "combined" USPS Shipping label through eBay BULK LABELS the label pricing does NOT match the price eBay would charge if you had bought the IDENTICAL (adjusted) label (size, weight, zip code) on eBay's single label "Print label" page??? Well I find it VERY frustrating that eBay STILL has not fixed what is essentially a bug in their Bulk labels pricing, since USPS cubic shipping was introduced in Jan 2024!!! IF you use WHOLE numbers for package size, eBay's bulk labels SEEMS to work ok. HOWEVER if you want to take advantage of USPS CUBIC Ground / Priority Rates (where measurements are to the 1/4 inch (0.25"). Bulk Labels will NOT consistently display or charge YOU the CORRECT amount. Bulk labels will ALWAYS ROUND UP any fractional measurement 4.1, 4.25, 4.4, 4.5, 4.75, etc. to the next FULL INCH. Obviously doing so completely IGNORES USPS Cubic Rate 1/4" measurement standards. Depending on the size of the package, rounding up the measurements can cause the "cubic size" of the package to INCREASE hence COSTING YOU a higher label fee even though your ACTUAL package size has NOT changed!!! Conversely eBay's "Single Label" / "Print Shipping Label" page WILL calculate the package based on the exact size entered and NOT round the results. If you use 4.25 or 4.4 or 4.5 it will calculate package size based on those EXACT measurements rather than ALWAYS ROUNDING UP to the next whole number. (Technically still NOT 100% accurate for USPS Cubic Rate, but real world "good enough".) Hopefully an eBay dev or someone that can actually reach an understanding HUMAN at eBay can get the ball rolling on getting things fixed!!! USPS Cubic rates have been used on eBay since Jan 2024, so eBay has had more than enough time to fix their bulk labels calculation issues. If you need a test example do a NY 10001 to CA 95936 (rural, no extra discount) zip codes with a package size of 10 x 10 x 8 and 10 x 10 x 8.5 and a weight of 20 pounds. Pay attention to both the USPS Ground Cubic rates and the USPS Priority Rates!!! If any shipping calculator is ACTUALLY using the numbers provided BOTH size packages WILL cost the same price!!! HOWEVER in eBay bulk labels the second package will be MORE expensive for USPS Ground and WAY more expensive for USPS Priority!!! (Priority mail cubic rate ONLY goes to 0.5 cubic foot, so after rounding UP the 8.5 to 9 the package NO Longer qualifies for priority cubic rate ACCORDING TO THE CALCULATOR despite the measurements provided being LESS than 0.5!!! At the same time the USPS Ground cubic rate will have increased from 0.5 cubic to 0.6 cubic due to the same rounding error.)The correct prices are and eBay's single label page will show:$16.58 Ground Cubic$27.70 Priority CubiceBay's Bulk Labels will tell you the label price is:$17.75 Ground Cubic$61.80 Priority (non-cubic), since rounding forced the package over the 0.5 cubic limit. In this example eBay's Bulk Labels is COSTING THE SELLER an EXTRA:$1.17 Ground Cubic$34.10 Priority (should be cubic, but wasn't calculated as such)!!!! For sellers that only ship a handful of packages a day, using single label works fine.For high volume sellers that MUST use bulk labels due to time constraints I hate to think how much extra shipping costs they are incurring due to eBay's rounding error for USPS Cubic Rates!!!
