International Shipping Issue

I found three items offered on eBay USA and asked the seller to combine them into one listing because eBay adds shipping costs to Germany for each item separately when purchased individually. The seller then created a new combined listing for me.

However, when I try to check out, eBay shows a message saying the seller does not ship to Germany and asks me to request shipping. I contacted the seller, and they assured me that international shipping is enabled.

Can anyone help me understand why eBay allows me to complete the purchase when buying the three items separately with three shipping charges, but not when they are combined into one listing with a single shipment?

My buyers have succeeded in combining multiple orders into one EIS shipment.

They were all similar items.

They were combined before the buyers paid, and I assume they were combined while still in the buyer's cart. The shipping cost was similar to a single item.

Given my past problems with German customs, I would not be surprised if there is some added obstacle to successful combined shipping.

Hello! I just had an order that went to Germany.

There were two separate items and I could not combine the shipping.

For some reason, I think it had to do with the EIS ID# that is associated with the items/ orders that are on the labels when we ship to the Distribution Center.

I could be wrong, though.

What are the 3 items? If they are all different items (like a book, a record, and a t-shirt0, they can't be combined because of the way eBay International Shipping is structured with filling out customs forms.

If they are all the same item (like 3 t-shirts) then they can be combined if the listing is set up correctly.

Can you post the item number so we can take a look?

As mentioned before the first three show international shipping but the add up to a high sum, and the combined one is not even proceeding to payment because it shows that the seller is not sending to my area!??!

You accidentally put the same item number twice..

Without being able to see the combined listing I'll guess that they used the term "lot" or similar. Such terms will automatically be flagged as eBay takes such terms to mean a mixed bag of items that could screw up the customs form. If the seller lists them as "3 hot wheels cars" or the like it should be good for eIS.
