International seller sent wrong item
Question: I bought three items from an international seller. Paid EUR 45.00 for shipping. When items came, one was the wrong item. Other two were correct. When contacted the seller, he said to keep the wrong item and he could send the correct item if I pay EUR 30.00 shipping to his bank account. Thoughts? Is it my responsibility to pay the shipping, or his? Thanks

·3 years agoTell him that you are NOT going to pay for his mistake. Let him know that you will be opening an ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED case within 24 hours. If you bought the 3 items as 1 sale, all 3 will have to be returned. The cheapest solution for the seller is to refund the price of the wrong item and part of the shipping. Send the email and wait 24 hours (assuming 30 days since the items arrived have not passed.) Otherwise, just open an INAD case.

·3 years agoHa also could send the correct item for no extra fee if you file an item not as described case.
Not sure I like his suggestion so much.

·3 years agoJust file a item not as described case. This is not what you bought; it is sellers' responsibility to do it right the first time. If they make a mistake, they should be the ones eating the charges.
Go to your purchase history, look for item in question, click return, and say not as described. Seller will have 3 days to decide, if no action then on the 4th day, have eBay step in.
don't complicate yourself.
