If you use FedEx, you might want to take a look at their Facebook page
Thank goodness I don't use FedEx. This was a personal delivery of a large item in 2 boxes. Got one box but the other has been on the truck for 4 days. Everyday a delivery is scheduled then 2 hrs later says it's rescheduled. Tried to call to see what was going on. No actual way to talk to a live person. So I look to see if I could message on Facebook. What I found floored me. Thousands of people with the same or worse problems. FedEx has some serious issues. The threads are horrendous. If you ship FedEx, I would keep close tabs on my shipments. I realize there are delays this time of year, but what people are experiencing should not happen. I would say we will probably see something on national news soon since local news stations are taking notice in diffent states. Hopes this helps someone already having issues.

OP1 year ago@broto_64 I'm with you on that. Ups does the same thing when you print using Ebay. It seems if I use my Stamps.com for UPS shipments I don't get any extra charges. I only use them on large items and very rarely.
I did find out that if you message FedEx on their Facebook page that you can get a rep right away. Sort of like you have to do for Ebay. They created a support ticket and contacted the hub to make sure it's delivered today. But we will see if that happens.
Happy Holidays!

·1 year agoI don't use Fedex, in fact I avoid them like the plague and it has nothing to do with what you're talking about but everything to do with all their clever little hidden surcharges.

·1 year agoFedex has been very late in some areas. It's possible they are running understaffed. Our local fedex has had a lot of drivers who don't speak English and get very confused. Some can't even discern numbers on houses and leave packages at the wrong place. I've wondered if some of these logistics places are hacked or just poorly managed. I've had several items state out for delivery.... then no delivery attempted... then rescheduling delivery for the next day and so on. I had one item out for delivery three days in a row before it was eventually dropped off by someone in a rental van. It was expected on the second and arrived on the tenth. USPS here is worse right now imho.

·1 year agoBuyers are purchasing mattresses to bicycles to flat screen TVs online....instead of the store delivering these items equipped with men to carry them(more than one person in the truck).
Our neighbor had a desk delivered...needed two muscle men to walk it up the stairs.
Even a box can be small but have a rock collection in it making it impossible to carry to someone's door.
Fedex, UPS and USPS have these huge boxes to carry to the buyer's front door.
Big purchase items should be shipped by the store...not these shippers.
Do you expect a one driver (maybe a woman) to carry such items to someone's door?

OP1 year agoI get what your saying But, they offer their service to these companies that ship large items. If they didn't want to take large items then don't offer your service for it. Anyway, The whole mess at FedEx isn't large items if you go look for yourself. It is regular size packages, peoples medication and such. All shipping services have their issues during the holiday season, but this is a disaster. I just wanted sellers to be aware of what is going on. I didn't know until I had my own problem and did some research only to find out on their own Facebook page and google searches that showed the news stations reporting. Just trying to help. Not bashing FedEx, but if there is a problem, people should know.
