I won an auction for a SAS raid card, The card was stopped in shipping and I was refunded.
This is frustrating as all hells. I won an auction, got a really nice price on a SAS raid card, shipped via the global shipping program, and now, Ebay informs me, I have been refunded, and that the item i illegal to ship internationally.
Why? What? And what can I do about it, to me, the value of that card is a LOT more than I paid for it.
This, feels like I am being violated.

·3 years agoThis item is prohibited by your country. It could be too the lithium batteries. You can be sure that the seller is also upset. Sorry.

·3 years agoMany electronic items have export restriction on them. This issue most often comes up with wireless devices but there many other items on the lists too. Could be a specific chip or other component on the circuit board that is restricted.

OP3 years agoI think it may be because it has a Lithium Ion Backup Battery....

·3 years agoThat happens with those shipping services. In that case you get a full refund and the seller keeps the payment and the company disposes of the item. It's hard to say if it was valid of the shipper did not fully know what your item was. There are a lot of strange embargoed items.
Sorry but your just out of luck.
