I use ebay's shipping calculator but keep getting extra charges for "billable weight"? | Shipping

I don't get this. I put in the dimensions and weight and the buyer pays shipping based on their location. Then a few days later I get another charge because whatever ebay told them to pay was wrong, so I'm stuck paying the difference. I just checked the most recent one. The dimensions were exact on my end and theirs, the weight I put in was actually a couple ounces heavier than the actual weight reported by FedEx, and I still get an extra charge because it wasn't calculated correctly. Shouldn't ebay have to cover this since their calculator is wrong?
