I need to understand why the QR code didn't show the first time.
So let me explain. An order was purchased, and I went to my phone to purchase the label, There was no secondary option to receive a QR code. From previous forums and posts I read, responders have mentioned there is an option to also receive the QR code. But all I did was click on the blue button that says purchase shipping label, no where around that was an option for a QR code. Now previous orders had given me a QR code to my email upon clicking the print shipping label button anyways, so I thought it would happen anytime the shipping label was printed, I didn't think about it because it always gave me one before, but this recent order did not.
I read that someone had to cancel their shipping label and re-purchase and reprint it from the orders page to get it and make sure to select the option. again I saw no option, but I did reprint it by canceling the original packing slip. And for some reason, upon reprinting the label on my PC, I now receive a QR code and the options to download and view that QR code. What was the difference?
The only difference I see is that I grabbed the shipping label from my phone originally which DOESN'T send you a QR code automatically, but for some reason on my PC, it DOES. Why? I'm currently looking through the Ebay app settings on my phone to see if there's a setting that's not ticked for a QR code, but I am unsure as to why there's this difference between mobile and PC.
I read other community posts here and on other sites trying to figure this out. All mentioned there's a secondary optional box to tick to receive the QR code. Again, it always sent me one before automatically, so I didn't think to much of it when I hit the print button for this order, expecting to receive one.
