Hurricane Beryl
I live in Houston which has massively affected by Hurricane Beryl, most of the city is still without electricity. I’m having a tough time finding a post office location that’s actually open so I’ll be be able to drop of my items that need to be shipped. Tried calling different locations and none of them has an individual number to be able to see they if they are individually open. Does anyone have any idea how to do that? Or another possible solution. My items are already late going out because I haven’t had power in my home. Any help would be appreciated!

Shut down and get everything shipped before it hit, then you wouldn't have to worry about it.

·2 years agoPut your items on time away until you can provide shipping.
I would have done this BEFORE the storm to avoid problems.

I would message your customers (create a form response if you have many items to be shipped) to let them know what you are dealing with. Most if not all will understand your situation. I have called USPS before using the toll free number 800- ASK USPS (1-800-275-8777) and have spoken to a customer service reps before. (will need to scroll through the automated menu first)
Hopefully you did not have too much damage or loss.
-Good luck
