How to get USPS Shipping Refund for non delivered item
I bought a USPS shipping label through eBay on Oct 23.
I delivered the item to the Post Office on Oct 24, where it was scanned .
The last update was on Oct 28, saying "In Transit, Arriving late".
I had to refund the entire amount to the buyer, including the shipping costs.
The Post Office told me that I have to go through the eBay app to request the shipping costs back. I cannot see any way to do that, as the label was actually scanned, so I cannot void it.
Thanks for any advice. Bev

·1 year agoIve got an item scanned 11/21 by post office and every day fir two weeks it showed update arriving lste moving thru system. Two months later before my 60 days are up to make a claim i filed to get insurance. The po wont even let me file to get my postage back or make a claim or even have them do a search because it still shows in system. Ive had great service for years with the po but its gone to garbage. As much as i hate them ive started charging more and shipping with ups.
