·3 years agoThank you so much for this info! I know this is an old thread but I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer. I've had my USPS insurance claim denied twice now and I only have one appeal left so I have to get it right. When I used this method it shows that payment was received on the date of the sale but under "paid with" it just has --. Not sure how to show Ebay was the payment processor. I know that USPS wants to see who the payment processor is.

·3 years agoI feel like USPS keeps moving the goalpost on how one is supposed to file a insured package claim. I filed one earlier this year exactly the same as how I did in '22 and it was denied. Their response sounded like they wanted a precisely itemized spreadsheet-like page for the claim. I just created the one below on the fly and submitted it as my appeal, and lo and behold, the claim was approved. I think much of the approved/denied yo-yo depends on whether your claim is reviewed by a laid back or strict employee. You are free to copy this method as you see fit.
