How To Combine Shipping on Sports Cards Using Ebay Standard Envelope / Ground Saver
Hello everyone! I've just started an eBay store. I'm selling a lot of single sports cards and would like to combine shipping. For an individual sports card (valued under $20), I can ship in an eBay standard envelope for about $1. For combined orders, I would need to use USPS Ground Saver, which starts at around $4.65.
My question is, if I update my combined shipping preferences to use USPS ground saver and apply that to all my listings, will it set ground saver as the shipping preference for single cards as well, or would they still be set as shipping in an eBay standard envelope?
In addition, since they would need to order at least 4 cards to be able to save on shipping using Ground Saver, would I be able to set a rule that they need to order 4 cards to get combined shipping? Thanks very much!

·8 months agoGo to "eBay Shipping Supplies" and order Trading Card Envelope Kit 3 Pockets. You can mail up to 24 cards in this 4"x9" envelope (no soft sleeves/no top loaders) for $1.32. I was skeptical at first but have been using them for 2 years and never had a problem. The requirements are explained in the description.

·8 months agoA little trick to save you from buying those overpriced envelopes: Cut a 9 pocket binder page into thirds, fits perfectly into a #10 envelope.

·7 months agoPro tip: Anything sold by the Ebay Supplies Store can be purchased elsewhere, anytime, without a coupon, for $25 less.
If they charge $30 and it's $5 after you use your $25 coupon, it only cost $5 to begin with, and you can buy elsewhere for $5 anytime.
