How long does the EIS inspection at the shipping depot usually take?

·3 years agoWhen the program first launched, eBay said their goal was to have packages move through within about 4 days. Several sellers and buyers have reported delays with packages sometimes taking up to 3 weeks to move. eBay recently opened up a second EIS hub so I expect that will help tremendously. With the old program (GSP) it was common for packages to take a week or so to move, sometimes more or less depending on volume.
But really none of that matters @oskalarse0 . As the buyer, all you need to worry about is the latest estimated delivery date. It doesn't matter if your package leaves the EIS hub today or a week from today because the estimated delivery date should account for that. If you get it earlier that's great.
In your shoes I'd track the package as it moves. You can get more info and your local carrier tracking number if you put the EEUS number on parcelsapp.com/en - obviously that local info won't be available until the package leaves the EIS hub.
You have 30 days from the latest estimated delivery date to file a non receipt claim if the package goes missing.
