I just looked at your listings and you do have international shipping set up. The buyer can clearly see the shipping price.
As such, I wonder whether the buyer might be trying to set you up for a text scam.

I've not confirmed how well this works, but for items under the eBay International Shipping program just go to the Shipping tab of your listing (i. e., the page that the buyer sees) and change the destination to China. It will come back with an estimate for shipping. It will also give a figure for import fees, but that's probably less dependable. I tried this on a random listing and got $93 for shipping and $0 for import fees.
If you are handling the shipping outside of the eIS program, whatever shipper you select will have a shipping cost estimator on their website. The customer will probably be aware of the import fees already. I believe that for eIS the buyer is given the option of paying the import fees upfront (through eBay) or paying them on receipt of the package in China.
Ask the buyer if they want their cell number on the package/label.

OP1 year agoThank you, I'm sure the buyer can get the estimated shipping cost if they click on shipping options. I am thinking this may be a scam as the message sent to be was not well worded. Shipping costs are not easy to find for international shipping. Again thank you for your response.
