(Help) DELIVERED TO AGENT PICKED UP AT USPS
A great clarification, because it was not understood. I know the destination I put in the address, I already received packages there. Never a problem. Except now with USPS, which says DELIVERED TO AGENT PICKED UP AT USPS, no one from my FF went to retrieve the package, nor did they leave it at the address because it was closed that day (July 4th holiday). Also, I don't work on July 4th. the USPS mail service, and, even so, they placed DELIVERED TO AGENT PICKED UP AT USPS.

It is impossible that someone picked up the package at the USPS office because, at the address it was going, no one left to look for anything, plus, it was the 4th of July, a holiday, and the delivery address was closed.
Until today, July 15, I do not have my package. For ebay "It was already delivered to me."
For the seller, according to the track, I already have it...BUT NO.
What had to do?

I am in the same situation, a package was supposed to be delivered on December 18 2025, tracking states: "delivered to agent, picked up at USPS", clearly I did not receive it nor the person in charge of the building, I filed a request search on January 8, tomorrow January 16 it's going to be a week and yet no updates from USPS, seller did not offer that much of help since it is "out of his hands now".
Did you managed to get a refund by ebay?

·7 months agohi, same situation here, all of my packages said Delivered to Agent, Left with Individual and this one is the only one that said Picked up at USPS, and we all know re shippers dont pick up anything lol.

OP2 years ago@luiaria50Hola, te digo como hice. Llame a USPS (el numero lo podes encontrar en google) mediante la app Rebtel por wifi, no te cobra nada (tambien puedes por Skype parece). Intentas hasta que hables con un humano, le dices spanish please y te proporciona un traductor en vivo (tienes que esperar hasta que traduzcas en los 2 idiomas, es al momento todo). Ahi, pide lo que dijo Robbie31415, eso hare tambien. Lo que dijo otro user puede ser verdad, en eso tengo esperanza,., se espera un tiempo hasta que ellos llenen un carro grande para recien hacer las entregas de una sola vez, mas cuando van a una misma zona especifica. Solo queda esperar para eso, este viernes se cumplirian 2 semanas, esta todavia en rango de esperable (por decirlo de algun modo). Por favor replica si tienes novedad tambien

The OP's problem is tracking shows it was delivered/picked up.

I am experiencing a similar situation with my package, which was scheduled for delivery by July 15. The USPS tracking status indicates that "the package was picked up by an agent at USPS," suggesting it was not delivered to my address. Unfortunately, my seller appears to be an automated system that only provides tracking updates without offering any solutions. I am concerned that I might be a victim of a scam. ·2 years agoWhat you need to do is contact the USPS, best probably to go to your local PO and inquire about the tracking and asking to check the GPS.
Also provide them your actual address.
If they say it wasn't delivered to you then you ask them for a hard copy statement that says that tracking number was not delivered to your address.
You then need to open an INR (item not Recieved ) on eBay.
You may lose and have to appeal.
Once you open the INR it probably best to contact eBay on social media twitter/facebook and explain the situation and let them know you have evidence from the USPS that it wasn't delivered to your address .
Without evidence you will most likely stand no chance because the only evidence eBay will have is that if was delivered successfully.

OP2 years agoHey robbie.. i already call 4 times to USPS center and they cant do that by their computer...and i cant go to a PO. I call to a PO and never pick up the phone...until now 17 working days and still dont have my shipping.

Please read the reviews, it happens to many people. They mark the package as “delivered/picked up†to maintain their performance indicators and decide that they are not behind schedule. It was NEVER delivered to my FF.

·2 years agoUSPS said they delivered it, so now it is your freight forwarder's responsibility.
Now you just let them do their job. If they don't send the package to you, then file a dispute with them. They don't need you to micromanage their job.

·2 years agoit's unlikely that a business that receives as many packages as a freight forwarder does, would be completely shut down for the holiday. They might have fewer people on site, but they are probably still staffed and running.
You seem to want this package to be lost. Why don't you trust your freight forwarder to send the package to you?

Once anything is shown as delivered to the address you provide, eBay and the seller are done.
This is between you and the FF you pay.

USPS (and most big companies) do work on holidays, just fewer hours. They don't deliver to houses, but the trucks keep moving.
Once the USPS has scanned the item delivered to your freight forwarder, then it is their responsibility. You chose the freight forwarder, not the seller or USPS or eBay, so this is on you. If the freight forwarder is denyiing their responsibility, then you need to get a better freight forwarder, who will provide you with better customer service. There have been many complaints about the freight forwarders in Miami/Doral, so you should probably look for one in another state.

·2 years agoExactly. The front part of the post office might be closed, but there are still people in the back receiving and sorting the packages.
My guess would be that all of the packages for a particular freight forwarder get put into a big bin that's designated specially for them and they come in and pick up the entire bin. The postal clerks most likely scanned the package as being Delivered when they put it into the bin for that freight forwarder even if no one came to pick up the bin on that specific day.

·2 years agoI understand what you're saying but USPS marked it as delivered so my above response still stands. According to USPS this was delivered to your forwarder so you need to address this with them, or have them deal with USPS.
eBay and the eBay seller are out of the equation.

·2 years agoThe fact that you used the FF makes the package ineligible for buyer protection. I have had dozens of packages sent to Doral by buyers and it’s a disaster half the time. Buyers always complaining about something when FF in Doral is used. Having said that, wait a few days and contact the freight company, or check back to see if the item will be in their system. They don’t scan the articles piecemeal it’s done in bulk.

·2 years agoBasically the evidence is against you.
The only evidence is the FF received it.
You'd have to battle with the USPS if they scanned it incorrectly.
If it did make it to the FF and issues happened once possession was transfered then you lost all protections via eBay because you used a freight forwarding service that was hired by you.
Your only option may be to file with you payment method (paypal, CC, debit card bank) and file a item not arrived complaint.
But be warned you have a heavy chance of losing that since eBay will provide them the only evidence that exists and that's the USPS tracking that shows delivered.
If you didn't know hiring **bleep** may be cheaper to get your item overseas but they pose this risk and you are on the hook because it's a service you paid for outside of the transaction.

·2 years agoI hope everyone reads this post and understands what is happening at these Freight Forwarding companies in South Florida. For some reason around last fall/winter there have been an insane amount of INR opened by buyers who use these freight services. They are being told all sorts of lies and fraudulent information in some cases. If you have any packages without delivery scans, 100% buyers will open INR.

·2 years agoNo, the USPS has nothing to do with the FF.
You are responsible for any issues the FF has as you are the one who hired the service.
If you want protection to your actual location then you would need to have the seller either ship directly to you or use a program like Ebays International Shipping.
Once the USPS marks it as delivered then eBay and the seller are done.

·2 years agoYou used a freight forwarding service, your item was shipped to the freight company. Contact them to schedule the delivery to your home country.

What happens after that is between you and the freight forwarder.
As far as Ebay is concerned, it was delivered to the address you provided.

OP2 years agoAs I answered above. It arrives at the USPS Miami headquarters and, within minutes, it says picked up by an "agent." The 3rd Party Reshipper that
USPS refers to is hired by them, that's what they told me in the email. By USPS. Do you think that now, 7 business days is normal for it to take to deliver from Miami to Doral?

·2 years agoYour item was delivered to Doral which is the massive complex that houses the freight forwarding companies that use a mailbox system to hold packages until their customer(you) arrange or have arranged delivery to their home countries. Go onto the web page that you used with that Freight Company, and they’ll usually populate the delivery info after several days after receipt the package. It takes time to get into their system after the delivery.

·2 years agoThe 3rd party shipper is hired by the BUYER..not the seller or USPS. The 3rd party shipper can set up delivery options and USPS simply follows them.
The buyer needs to deal with teh 3rd party shipper to get the package or refund.

·2 years agoYou are located in Argentina and using a freight forwarder in the US, correct? Tracking shows the item was successfully delivered to the freight forwarder which means you have to contact the forwarder for international tracking @montra66 . Neither eBay nor the seller have visibility to that info from the forwarder.

OP2 years agoIt was not received on site. I already checked. The explanation, according to the Ebay track, arrived at the USPS Central office in Miami, and, within a minute, it showed that status (DELIVERED TO AGENT PICKED UP AT USPS). No one from the destination address went to pick it up, but it was the 4th of July holiday. That is impossible as you will see.

·2 years agoThe bottom line is it's marked as delivered per USPS which takes eBay and the eBay seller out of the equation. This is now between you and the freight forwarder. Did the service you paid for include insurance of any kind? You need to go back to the forwarder and let them know USPS says it was delivered so they need to provide international tracking or you need to file a claim with them.

·2 years agoYou may be a victim of a seller scam where you have been provided the tracking number for a shipment to other than your address.
Contact USPS again. Tell them your address and ask whether it was the address the shipment was delivered to.
You will need that to fight with Ebay. Ebay appears not to have tools to deal with this scam.
