Shipped a keyboard and got a notification that they are returning the item. No explanation why nothing. Even if they fully refund me I lose money and time that took me to buy packing materials etc.

Welcome to selling. That is the price of doing business. Every transaction doesn't go smoothly and items get returned, lost or even broken in shipment when you sell and that costs the seller money.

You don't accept returns so why are they returning it?

If it's not as described then you have to refund when it's received back. Ask them for the tracking number.
