    Frustrated by Confusing QR Code Emails

    Summary: aiskl_29 shared frustrations about eBay changing the format of QR code emails for shipping, making it difficult to match packages with recipients. kensgiftshop suggested buying a label printer and writing it off on taxes, while christworks recommended submitting feedback directly to eBay and investing in a thermal printer for efficiency. christworks provided details about affordable printer options, mentioning personal experiences with specific models, which tools* inquired about. aiskl_29 appreciated the input and suggestions.

    I'm a seller and I often take multiple packages to the post office at the same time. I don't have a printer at home, so I buy shipping and get QR codes to my email. Easy enough, right?

    In the last couple months, eBay changed the formatting of those QR codes and I find it much harder to manage. Each QR code used to be a separate email with the item name in the subject line ("eBay shipping label for ___"). Now, it's one giant email with so much space between the QR code and the photo of the item that it takes me forever to ensure that I'm mailing the right item to the right person. This is not the end of the world, of course, but SOMEONE made this change happen and I'd like for it not to stay this way.

    This is the only way I seem to be able to give eBay feedback, so hopefully someone sees this. Anyone else feel the same?

    @aiskl_29

    Almost every page has a ? on the bottom right part of it where you can submit feedback to eBay. In fact, here is about the worse place to do it as eBay isn't here.

    I doubt you'll find too many who feel the same. Most sellers, even casual ones, have a thermal printer.

    The way I see it you have two options:
    1) Keep doing what you are doing, which is a time drain and heavily reduces your net profit per hour

    or

    2) Spend $100 on a thermal printer that will last you tens of thousands of sales.

    I use a K Comer themal printer, model CX418. I paid $87 for it. It's been going strong for almost four years. I print my shipping labels, thank you stickers, and SKU stickers using it. I think K Comer is no longer selling, but Munbyn is also good and they have models that cost less than $100. I have a friend who has been using Munbyn for years. Because my model does not have bluetooth, I am planning to upgrade to a Munbyn later this year for the bluetooth feature.

    There is no need to spend hundreds of dollars on a thermal printer.

    Get a cheap label printer and write it off on your taxes.

    No one that can do anything will see this post.
