Free shipping after prices went up, thoughts please.
I sell items in a pretty niche category, parts for brass instruments. I sell them at a fair price to help players save money from expensive professional cleanings. I offer free shipping for US, but with the increased USPS prices I’m really taking a hit. I can’t decide to go to cost by weight and destination or a flat $2.50 or $3.00 for US shipping. I know the free shipping is more of a game and people know it’s added to the price. But I prefer to be honest about it and explain with the increased prices I can’t offer it anymore to help keep the cost of the items at a fair price.
As a one man business I’m nervous about making too drastic of a change. Anyone else going through the same situation and if so what are your thoughts. Thanks in advance for any help/advise you can offer.

·2 years agoIt's ALL about what your competition does on this site. I can see the 'trumpet tune up springs etc. has 4 'other seller listings' shown on your listing (typical) and they ALL show 'free shipping'.
So, there's your answer.
