forgot to include an item in the sold listing.
I shipped a sold item yesterday that’s being sent to the eBay hub, but I completely forgot to include the receipt/original invoice that I stated would be included in the description and photos.
What is the best way to handle this? Should I send the receipt separately? Will the authenticator notice the missing receipt before the item is sent to the buyer?
I’ve tried contacting customer support, but they seem unsure what to suggest.

·11 months agoHang on to receipt and see how it plays out. There is no way that AG will be able to match receipt with item due to 2 different delivery time lines and you are asking AG to go out of their ways to do this which they won’t be able to do so. Their job is to authenticate the item. Just let it play out and see what happens next. It may work out not. Good luck

·11 months agoI suspect that's what's going to happen.
I don't recommend sending the receipt separately because it's unlikely they'll be able to match it with the item it goes with. Just hold on to it and if they reject it (for the missing receipt), you can relist and include it the next time it sells. If it passes, you can snail mail it to the buyer explaining what happened. You'll have to get the buyer's address since it's not shown on AG orders.

·11 months agoSince you're not supposed to have any kind of "extra" items included in AG listings or packages, they probably would have trashed the receipt anyways. If it passes, you can mail it to the buyer in a stamped envelope if they still want it.

Also, you have pictures with the charm.

·11 months agoIt's honestly your call. You could notify them and then send the original receipt separately or wait until they complain. I wouldn't do anything unless they complain about it. If they complain just apologize and say "I will send it to you."
