For a 15.4 oz package, eBay charged buyer for 1 lb...
I didn't realize eBay would round up to a pound when the limit is 15.999 before a pound kicks in.
I ship through Pirate Ship, and there's no issue there when inputting the correct (exact) weight for a package.
Just wanted to give a heads-up for those who don't realize that. This was the first time it's happened to me.

·1 year agoeBay's programming apparently can't deal with the decimals necessary to handle USPS's ridiculous .001 increment between the weight range for 8+-12.999 ounces vs 1 pound. The practical way to deal with this is to enter the weight as 15 ounces.

Thanks, yes, I'll have to do that for future (or current) listings affected. But eBay should be sophisticated enough to make that distinction, though like you indicate, it is a rather ridiculous USPS increment.
