Flat-Rate Priority Shipping options for USPS not available for all USA addresses?
Summary: neo33xtr is experiencing an issue where the USPS flat rate Priority shipping option is not available for about 40% of their eBay customers. This change has caused them to remove some products from their store due to the increased shipping costs of other methods. bdmh-enterprises suggested that the flat rate might not be appearing due to incorrect weight or dimensions settings, affecting the compatibility with the flat rate box, and recommended using alternative services like Pirate Ship for labels until the problem is resolved.
Greetings everyone,
Has anyone else seen that certain customers "now" don't have the option for flat rate USPS Priority packages from eBay shipping?
I only say "now" because I've been selling on eBay for well over a decade, and I just recently started seeing this pop up around 40% of the time now.
The problem is, that its not economical for me to send my products for anything but the flat rate USPS Priority, and what am i supposed to do with the customers that don't have that available for them? I don't mark up my products very much, and because of this, I deleted half of my products that I sell from my eBay store, because it's hit or miss on whether I'll be able to ship them economically. ( i suppose i could cancel the orders that I couldn't send that way, just kind of think that's a rotten deal for my customers though)
Any ideas? explanations of why those options are only available now to certain people? Help!!?

·3 weeks agoThe only reason I know the flat rate wouldn't show up on the purchase label screen is if your weight or dimensions are set larger than the FR box. There are no "certain customers" that can't get PFR shipments from USPS.
You could get your labels from pirateship or the like until you figure it out.
