FedEx SmartPost (shouldn't it be Ground Economy) package delivered to wrong city
I purchased an item, and the seller shipped it FedEx SmartPost (at least the FedEx tracking says SmartPost even though I didn't think that was a thing any more). Along the way, the label was apparently damaged and replaced. When I received the delivery notification, the tracking shows delivery in a town 30 miles away. If I file an INR claim, will the automated system be able to determine that shipping address/ZIP does not match what the tracking shows? Are there additional precautions I need to take before trying to file the claim? In all my years here, this is the first time such a thing has happened.

·6 months agoGet confirmation from the post office that the item was not delivered to your address to include with your claim.
If the eBay case doesn’t work out, you can also consider filing a chargeback with your payment provider.
