FedEx extra shipping charges
FedEx just sent two extra shipping charges for IDENTICAL items. On the one, they are trying to charge me for a weight overage because the 480 ounces I paid for was weighed as 30 pounds by them. 480 ounces EQUALS 30 pounds. On the second identical package, FedEx claims it weighed 41 pounds even though the weighed the first package correctly at 30 pounds.
eBay turned in a dispute after I got to talk with someone. But they still will hold my money (over $70) until FedEx and eBay work out the dispute. For obvious errors on FedEx's part. What a scam.
This is not the first time with FedEx either for me. Last week I was billed for an extra inch in 2 dimensions, and that was also false.
The local store that handles FedEx drop offs asked me about how they were doing, and if I had any issues...... because others were also complaining of this kind of issue.
FedEx has an issue, at least in this area. Be aware.
I'm going to start switching shipping away from FedEx regardless of the costs. I can't keep getting hit with false charges that turn sales into losses, wasting time with disputes, and having my money held for god knows how long. Maybe y'all should look at doing the same.

·4 months agoYes, it sounds like your packages were charged dimensional weight, but without you giving the size of the boxes we can only assume that. Dimensional weight is not actual weight, its a fictitious weight based on size of the package. It can also come with additional charges

·4 months agoSounds like you were charged extra because of DIMENSIONAL WEIGHT (google it, I'm not feeling much like explaining again).
You can keep blaming Fedex if you want, but if you do, you won't learn anything from this debacle.
