FedEx changes weight on packages
At least once or twice a month Fedex will change the weights on my packages and pull the money out of my e- bay accounts. I have just let this go but it's really starting to cost a bunch of money and I know there's a way to dispute this, but I can't remember where it's at on eBay any help.

·5 months agoYou want an accurate scale and you want accurate package measurements both. Sometimes a quarter inch off is enough to send something over a limit with dimensional weight.
Second, I get an incorrect fed ex correction from time to time, never had one large enough to be worth the time disputing. I save thousands of dollars per year using Fed Ex, while paying dozens of dollars per year in what I believe to be incorrect adjustments. Seems worth it to me.

·5 months agoOnly suggesting that this might be a reason for this. Have you checked the accuracy of your scale? Do you round down on any of your weights? When you get things that weigh X pounds and 15oz you probably need to round that up the X+1 pounds.
When I used a different post office and dropped my packages off when they weighed my packages they commented on how accurate my scale must be.
I use Fedex mostly for larger packages and to date (knock on wood) I have yet to get an adjusted charge. If something weighs 14pounds and 15 ounces, I enter 15 pounds and 1 oz. Even if my tape measure shows exactly 24 inches in a dimension, I enter 25 inches.

·5 months agoFedex is corrupt to the core. From corporate on down. The only way to avoid it is to not use their services.
