FEDEX and or EBAY IS OVERCHARGING CUSTOMERS and making millions
for about the last 18 months, I have had ebay messages about FEDEX Shipping adjustments, most of the time the cost DOUBLES. I recently shipped an item from KY to MI. I put in the EXACT dimensions of the box, the weight, and rounded up on size and weight. FEDEX or Ebay adjusts the Price UP by virtually DOUBLE the initial cost. It's time to contact attorneys. I can't believe a company does this. There should be NO REASON, you can be billed after the fact at ANY rate or amount they choose and there is NOTHING you can do about it.

·2 years agoIt happened to us a couple of times on items that were exactly what we entered into ebay and now I no longer use FedEx, whatever the scam they are running, I refuse to be part of.
Not sure what is going on but they used to be a reliable and cost effective way to ship but not anymore...the last time we got a notice from ebay that they were taking an additional some $45 out of our account because FedEx undercharged us, this was over double the amount we (and in turn my customer) had paid. I have never used FedEx again.
May I suggested using UPS instead, we haven't had issues with them at all.

·2 years agoIf you are not satisfied with the FedEx shipping experience through eBay labels, don't use them. There are other options, even within eBay labels. You can also take a look at using a shipping app that offers FedEx and/or opening your own FedEx account and check the rates you can get. If you have your own account you have a much easier time of contacting customer service for shipping adjustments and answers. But those rate discounts will likely not be close to what the eBay negotiated rates are unless you are a very high volume user.
We have gotten a couple FedEx surcharges but not many and overall we think they are often a very cost effective option vs eBay's other negotiated rate partners, especially for the 2day One-Rate service.

Shipping with FedEx is different than USPS.
You must understand that there are more potential costs when you ship with FedEx than just weight and dimensions, and it is all documented in their 150 page FedEx Rate Guide.
USPS doesn't care about these things ... but FedEx is super picky about packaging, and they punish you with surcharges if you violate their shipping rules. You can see details by going on your Shipping Labels Page and clicking on the FedEx charge. If you post that information on here, someone here can help you understand what you are doing to cause the surcharges.

OP2 years agoAccording to google there are about 18.3 Million sellers on ebay, Fedex overcharge me by 28 dollars July 23rd, 2024, if they done that to even half of ebay sellers, say 9 million sellers x 28.00 . this would equal what 252 Million extra income daily ?? what is being done about this ?
