I ship this item (a pair of pliers) :
The packaged weighed less than a pound, hence the 7.87 shipping charge. Fed Ex comes back and claims the package is 21 pounds and will cost an additional 60.69! EBAY is about to withdraw funds from my bank account. I TRIED to reason with Fed Ex, but they pointed back to me ans EBAY. What do I do now?

·Aug 13, 2026 at 7:17 AM@mikbonaci_0 While sellers can go through FedEx to get insurance claims, you must go through eBay to appeal an over charge. It is best to contact eBay through their Instagram page. When you reach out to them, do not provide your account details. They will message you back and provide a link to verify your account. This will be the quickest way to get the charge disputed.
