Excluded shipping locations not working
This is getting frustrating. I am trying to exclude certain items from Alaska, Hawaii, FPO APO. I havemanually added these excluded locations to each specific item OVER AND OVER again, only for them to get ordered by someone in these restricted areas and have to cancel the order. I explain the situation to the customers and they are never understanding that we cannot pay $300 in shipping alone to ship their $150 item they ordered with free shipping to these restricted areas that ebay will not save. From here we get counted off for canceling an order, and they ALWAYS leave negitive feedback noting we would not come out of pocked to honor error.
Going to shipping prefrences and selecting these locations as excluded is NOT an option as about 50% of our listings CAN ship free to these locations flat rate, whereas the other items are far too large and heavy to ship for free outside of the connected 48 states. How do I get the excluded locations to actually save on specific listings? Because I cannot get any of them to save. Any help appreciated.

·2 years agoThat listing has those blocked but other subwoofer listings that offer free Fedex shipping are still showing as shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.

OP2 years agoOk then it appears to have saved on this listing this time around, I am curious if it stays. All of the other listings, I have done this over and over again on. I have literally spent hours re-fixing the listings and it is like they will not update to the shipping restrictions.

·2 years agoAre you using business policies or are you excluding them on the listing itself?
Do you have an example of an item that you have excluded shipping to those locations?

OP2 years agoI am excluding the locations directly on the listing. There is a spot to exclude locations on the listing. Another customer from Hawaii just ordered the listing linked below. I have manually excluded the locations AGAIN. We will see if it saves. https://www.ebay.com/itm/115299241804

I have a business policy that I apply to listings that I do not want to ship to those locations.
 
Prior to using business policies, I did the "exclude locations" in the individual listings.
