Evri shipped to wrong address
I made a sale for an item and I bought the tracking code with Packlink (I use the QR code since it is very efficient for me because I don't own a printer) just like how I always have done, for all of my orders. However the customer opens a request today saying that the item has arrived to a wrong address (so Evri made a mistake in shipping). I double-checked to make sure it wasn't me who made the mistake, but it wasn't me. The customer said that he tried contacting Evri himself but Evri said that they should contact me (the sender). I can contact Evri tomorrow but why should I be in charge of this? He has opened a request for my item, which basically means he is blaming me. Won't this give a negative feedback on me with a request open?
I tried contacting eBay and they said that they would side with me, but they cannot do anything yet because they need to let the customer and the seller to communicate for 3 business days then they can hop in. But I cannot trust eBay's support, at all. They always say something different. So what should I do to handle this correctly? I want to deal with it now so it doesn't cause any issues for me in the future.
Quick note: The address of the buyer is the same as the address the item has been sent to. I even contacted the buyer and he sent me his correct address which is the exact one the item was sent to on Evri... Beginning to think it is a lie

OP2 years agoYes it does. The tracking shows delivery to the address the customer provided. It also shows proof of delivery and everything. They even included a google map link with the exact location of where the item was delivered to. Which was where the buyer wrote himself when he ordered the item.
