ESE insurance on INR when delivered scan?
I've seen it implied that it's possible to be paid out on PIP insurance claims even if there's a delivered scan if the buyer files an INR on their ESE order. Can anyone actually confirm this is true?
The only other time this has happened the buyer was rude in their message, so I put in tracking, blocked and had the neg removed. This buyer seem legit though so I would prefer to go the refund route if it's possible to get reimbursed. I would prefer to test the system on a $3 card rather than a $15 card though..

·1 year agoI would always file an insurance claim for my buyers if they report they didn't get it with ESE.
The delivery scan isn't real in the sense that it made it to the buyer.
It's a scan at the last sort facility.
Yes you can get paid out even if there is a delivery scan with ESE.
What i do is upload the tracking to the INR, file an insurance claim. Win the INR, then manually send a refund once the insurance is approved.

·1 year agoIf there is a delivered scan and the buyer files an INR, it will be rejected automatically since the item is marked delivered. I've only paid refunds when there is no delivered scan and then, yes I got the insurance payment which covered the sale but not the shipping.

OP1 year agoYou would think with all the other automation that would be the case, but my buyer was able to file one. Maybe because ESE has that chance of getting lost after the last sort?

You can always file an INR regardless of delivered tracking.
Doesn't matter the service.
What if seller messed up the address ? What if the carrier misdelivered and the city doesn't match?
So it should be allowed and is.
