Opps, I mis-read the question. I thought you meant if a buyer from a country not listed in EIS won an auction of mine. In that case, I would cancel the transaction. IF it's EIS, I don't care where the final destination is, I will ship. It's ebay 's responsibility to get it there, not mine.
Does ebay use usps once the package arrives at the hub? I would think that if they have that they ship to a specific country that they have already figured out which service they will use to ship there. Obviously they do goof up as they have had specific items listed with EIS that they then refuse to ship but in those cases, I believe that both the buyer is refunded and the seller either gets their item back or does not have to refund.
If it's me, I am cancelling with a problem with the buyer's address since I ONLY ship internationally through EIS.
You wouldn't know the buyer's address since it only shows up as domestic to you, but the buyer lives in a USPS restricted country that EIS would have to try and ship to once your package arrives at their sorting facility. Would ebay cover you for that since it would definitely end up as an item not received?

OP3 years agoI just assumed they did to get the package to the destination country. I could be wrong as I don't use EIS.

OP3 years agoSorry let me re-phrase. You would never know what country the buyer put as their shipping address as buyers can put any shipping address they want.
