EIS Shipping to UK Difficulties
Hello! I have a buyer from the UK that wants to purchase one of my listings (item number: 336368517424). When they try to purchase it, however, they keep getting an error message stating "this seller won't send this item to the United Kingdom". I am enrolled in EIS and have never had any issues shipping to the UK before, is there something I'm missing here? Thanks

·5 months agoI just had a listing removed/pulled by AI because the item was prohibited for sale in or to the UK.
It is perfectly legal to sell in the US where I am based.
I am neither a seller located in the UK nor do I even ship to the UK. Ever, past or present.
Obviously, eBay automation & AI screwed up.

·5 months agoThis particular item does not ship outside of the United States at all.
My guess is that its value blows apart any sort of insurance limits used by eIS's carriers.

·5 months agoI didnt look at what is being sold, but if it is a toy it needs the CE safety stamp on the package. If it's an open toy or packaged before UK's safety requirements it is a tough sale as they will get denied if checked

·5 months agoThere are requirements for safety certifications for toys shipped to the UK.
If EIS accepted them, they would be seized in UK customs.
