EIS automatic enrolment now address incorrect and cant ship or cancel order
eBay automatically enrolled me yesterday into EIS. Today i have an order to their hub but eBay blocks me from printing label or canceling order per there instructions.

Takes 2 seconds.
They match by the code on address line 2.

·10 months agoOne down-side, unfortunately, is that they are horrendously slow at it. It adds a week or more to the shipping time before the package even leaves the country.
The delay differs dramatically by destination country, and buyer tolerance for the delay is actually quite good for the countries I get orders from.
I do my best to lower buyer expectatons, including including a 5 day handling time so that I have virtually no where is my order messages from buyers, and FB on EIS orders which indicates delivery was in line with buyer expectations.
Speed like beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

·10 months agoThe problem line is simply the buyer's name prepended with "eIS C/O" on the front. The key ID of the transaction is the evtn number; you can move some of the over-long buyer name to the next line. (It probably only became too long because eBay International Shipping puts their own C/O prefix on the front; this is likely not the buyer's fault.)
eIS has the benefit of eBay taking over responsibility for the international shipment as soon as they receive it, including handling buyer returns or refunds at their expense rather than yours. That's why not everyone gets the invite to be in it. One down-side, unfortunately, is that they are horrendously slow at it. It adds a week or more to the shipping time before the package even leaves the country.

·10 months agoI opted out of this EIS. What a scam signing me up for EIS without my consent. Plenty of good customers right here in the USA.

·10 months agoIt is not a scam, but most of your products are unlikely to qualify for export to much of the world. You are giving up nothing, unlike people who sell other items.
