editing shipping after a sale
Newbie here. I just sold, what is to me, my first high ticket item...$198 wallet. I had it listed Ground Advantage but would like to send it Priority because I feel more confidence in that with this item. Just need confirmation that this is a good choice and won't harm my seller rating. Also, the way of work here is to edit shipping in the eBay Choose shipping service page to the correct priority size and print the label as I normally would. Thx for any advice.

·2 years agoYou are fine since you are upgrading the service. You are not allowed to downgrade the service. I usually send the buyer a message if I upgrade shipping. "I have upgraded your package to priority shipping at no extra charge to you. The tracking # is___. I just wanted to let you know so you could be looking for your package sooner than expected. Thanks, ____"

As long as you do not charge your buyer for the increase in shipping fees (from Ground Advantage to Priority), you will not have any problems with either eBay or your buyer.
And you can edit the shipping page without any penalty, as well.
