Prior to July of 2023 we could set our eBay carrier discount setting to charge retail prices for USPS. We could override this USPS carrier discount setting on individual listings by selecting Parcel Select as a service within the listing form and thus charge customers the commercial rate on that listing only. Alternatively you could set your default discounts to charge commercial rates and override this on individual listings by selecting USPS Retail Ground. The commercial rate was used on select larger items subject to dimensional rates which resulted in too high of a retail price. We would instead calculate the maximum commercial rate and increase the price of the item by a percentage of this shipping amount to account for FVF on the shipping. UPS Commercial Ground was not an option on these items as it was higher than USPS commercial rates. After USPS consolidated a number of services into Ground Advantage and Ground Advantage Retail eBay failed to properly update its system to still allow for individual listing overrides. eBay failed to add Ground Advantage and Ground Advantage Retail as options on the listing form. This means we cannot list any of these large items with a commercial rate and also list many small items with the retail rate. We brought this to eBay's attention in July of 2023 but eBay has done nothing! The fact you would remove this shows the people at eBay have no practical experience in shipping themselves and could care less about their users at all. Do you think really I was stupid enough to believe your customer service's lie about its due to USPS preventing you from offering Ground Advantage and Ground Advantage Retail on the listing. I guess that work some some born yesterday newb, which apparently eBay thinks all users are by default.
