Ebays ESUS tracking numbers are **bleep**
Seller provided me with an ebays esus tracking number- shoes my package out for delivery on two separate occasions 120miles away.... then it shows it as "delivered" to my home town
...never out for delivery. The post office says it has no clue what the ESUS # is since it's not one of theirs. The USPS Informed delivery NEVER showed ANY package ot letter in the post offices care ready to be delivered. Why does eBay pull this crap? Just say it's a guess and DONT CALL IT TRACKING BECAUSE ITS NOT. I will give it a few more days then I will file with ebay- but talk about a system designed to cause stress and anxiety.

·1 year agoThe envelope has an eBay shipping meter label on it and is for an item less than $20.00.
The tracking is not very good on these ESE envelopes unfortunately.
'system designed to cause stress and anxiety'...it's for an item(s) totally $20. and no more.
If seller didn't use it and just put a forever stamp on it usually it would arrive 4-5 days cross country to you.

·1 year agoeBay Standard Envelope (ESE) is a metered letter mail shipment with USPS so it does not receive traditional tracking scans like a package would, and the clerk at the PO counter cannot scan it or track it. The envelope is scanned by sorting machinery at distribution centers along the way.
With ESE, a 'delivered' scan generally occurs when the envelope arrives at the last USPS facility before it gets to the buyer, so typically the buyer will receive their order a few days after the delivered scan.
If the item was just scanned as delivered, I suggest waiting a few more days for the envelope to turn up.
You can sign up for USPS Informed Delivery. You get an email every morning with images of letter mail you'll be receiving that day (ESE should be pictured with the letter mail), and the email will also show a list of package tracking numbers arriving that day.

When an item is pictured on your informed delivery email, but that item isn't delivered, you can log in to your account at usps.com and report that you didn't receive it. That alerts the PO and they will alert your carrier that a mail piece was missing from your delivery.
