ebay standard envelope listing went over $20 and the buyer is international- unable to send invoice
I realize I should have had two shipping options, had no idea the item was worth more than $20. I use ebay international shipping but when I tried to send an updated invoice I was not allowed because ESE does not allow international shipping. Should I cancel the sale and change shipping rule to USPS ground advantage w Ebay international Shipping?

·8 months agoI have sent eBay standard envelopes through the eBay international shipping program before.
The reason you can't ship by eBay standard envelope is because your item is over $20. You have to ship by ground advantage when that happens.
If you cancel on them after they have already paid you what they were prompted to, You risk getting a negative feedback. Just ship to the hub using ground advantage and eat the $5.

OP8 months agoThat's a good idea except ebay did not automatically use the address of their international shipping hub, so I think canceling and relisting with a price over $20 is the best choice I have.
