Ebay slow shipping and estimate delivery date is ridiculous
More and more lately on ebay when I buy items, seller takes sweet time not shipping paid item for days and some over a week and when I ask seller when item will be ship, they all says “you will get it by estimate delivery date shown…what?
I bought 4 items and all delivery ebay estimated given to seller was 2 weeks and sellers not shipping for whole 5 to 8 days later…so few took 2 weeks to get it …I could have bought from China and get it the same time I order from US.
and some sellers either respond with rude answers or not respond at all….like I say not all but some…lately keeps happening to me.
if I buy from other online, they ship right away and when I sell, I ship the same day or the very next day and I don’t care about ebay estimate dates.
yes I do understand people have life outside of ebay but should take ebay seriously too when dealing with money…people work hard for the money and when they buy, from ebay or elsewhere expect good service.
I too have life and I take everything seriously and responsible.

·3 months agoI have become so disgusted with eBay sellers that I don use the any longer unless the item I need is no available anywhere else. Amazon is MUCH better and their range of products is expanding daily.

I can say this past week, I experienced my 2nd fake tracking scam buying on AMZ.
Ebay is where the best deals are but you have to know how to vet sellers somewhat.

·1 year agoI share the same views on shipping promptly for my business. I ship a lot of mission critical items for networking/data centers. All my buyers care about is "when is it shipping". They know how long it takes to get there as do we.
Just get it in the mail.

·1 year agoI would suggest looking at the sellers estimated handling time given on the listing. This will give you an idea of how long it may take for them to actually ship out your item. Some sellers may have 1-30 day handling times which obviously will take longer for you to receive. (longer handling times) If you need the product immediately, i always suggest buying locally if possible. Shipping times are never guaranteed. If you have some time but want it sooner than later, it does not hurt to inquire with the seller before you purchase an item from them.
I can understand your frustration and agree items should be shipped out quickly but if the seller has a longer handling time listed, that is something you need to take in consideration when purchasing.
