Ebay Shipping Discount on Calculated Shipping Offered
I don't have a store but am trying to get rid of a lot of my household items. I have sold a few things and more recently with the recent USPS price change, there's a change in my shipping of an item. Because of the high shipping cost, I offer calculated shipping on heavier items for buyers. My last sale was purchased from California and with Ebay's discount, the buyer paid $10.85. This was always the given discount to both the buyer and seller. But now, I'm being asked to pay $11.50. The buyer purchased this item just before the USPS rates went up on July 13, so his shipping paid was $10.85. So I'm wondering if Ebay raised it's discount for sellers. Thank you.

Charging the buyer retail rates instead of discounted gives a nice buffer for these kinds of situations.

·1 year agoUPS has smart Mail service which is their version of the USPS's first class . It is cheaper then the Ground Advantage .Ebay has UPS smart mail shipping listed but labels aren't print able . I have spoken with Ebay U.S. Supervisor about the service about getting it right away . Because I don't want see another 10+ year wait to have it on site. which took them 12 years to get the commercial First class shipping . I'm hard pressed to consider using USPS shipping for parcels Coming and going ,Do to unexplained delays that aren't do to Mother nature and issues of unexplained package looping from seller location .
