ebay shipping costs are way off
For some reason, I put in the weight and dimensions for the package and ebay chose the flat rate envelope rate for $8 but I just took it to the USPS and it is oversize and costs $87. What is going on here?

·2 years agoFlat rate envelope just happens to be at the top of the list of label options, and your list of options didn't include Media Mail because as noted in the other post, you can't mail that item via Media Mail. So, what's going on here is that you set up your listing with a service you couldn't provide.
However, if you had scrolled down the list of label options you would have seen the options which actually re available for you item, which would have been cheaper to purchase through eBay than paying retail at the PO counter.

·2 years agoThe listing had Media Mail, which you can't ship it Media Mail.
If you had selected the right service and entered the correct size and weight, the shipping would have been right.
