For general selling updates, look for my post on the Selling forum here. ----- eBay International Shipping (eIS) location expansion: Back on the March 2, 2023 Seller Check In, eBay announced they were working on adding US protectorates to eIS. That update will be rolling out soon. Included in the expansion is Alaska and Hawaii because eBay was able to work out some great rates. Puerto Rico will be available "very soon" and AK/HI at some point in Q3. No other territories/protectorates were mentioned, but I hope eIS will include all of them. This should help boost sales for sellers that exclude these locations because they use UPS/FedEx exclusively, or because they block the regions out of ignorance, expense, return risk, etc. Might also help all other sellers that actively ship to those areas if USPS moves forward with the Zone 10 proposal for AK/HI/Territories. -----eIS combined shipping: eBay to add 3 new categories in the near future Cell phones, electronics and I missed the 3rd one - might have been toys? Not sure, will have to watch the video when it's posted here. -----Direct international shipping: customs form has been added to the app. Previously if shipping USPS international sellers had to use the website to buy the label. ----- On the app eBay is adding info to advise sellers of the label refund estimate window (for voided labels). No word if this is being added to the web, they only discussed the app. Maybe @kyle@ebay can find out for us if it will be added to web? ----- Ability added to update ships-from and return address in the app. ----- They discussed the new eIS exclusions toggle. I'll copy/paste my text from back then:They addressed parallel imports issues (Levis, Nike, etc), said they changed the process. When these complaints are made by the companies, the complaints are going directly to the eIS team, the eIS team will adjust impacted listings to restrict countries where the complaints originated, sellers' listings will remain active with no VeRO policy violations on their account. This is excellent news compared to what we saw happening at the early stages. Nice to see them helping sellers with this. ----- Not part of the Seller Check In, but a recent and positive shipping change from the past few days:The tracking pop-up is now showing 4 scans before you have to click "see more" - an improvement from the former 2 scans.
