Ebay scammed me
I sold a item for 220$ and the tracking shows it's delivered to buyer Jul 9 then buyer opened a case in jul 11 saying 'item didn't rereceived'. Then Ebay gave buyer a full refund within next 8 minutes I didn't even had a chance to see the case refunded within 8 minutes. Now Im screwed because Items was worth 160$+. It's clearly ebays fault. And ssince I'm asian I always get indian customer care. They don't even care

·2 years agoHi @kavrathn-20 . Regarding item 405051517209 for the blank DVD-Rs:
Are you saying the buyer filed an item not received (INR) claim, and eBay found the claim in the buyer's favor within 8 minutes of them opening the claim?
If that's what happened, you need to contact customer service to appeal. You're supposed to have 2 days to respond to the claim and add tracking that confirms delivery.
Earlier when you said you added tracking, you were referring to the order, not the INR claim, correct?

OP2 years agoYh replied within a day and did give tracking number. I appealed and ebay said decision was made can't do anything and gonna stick with 1 st outcome on the case.

Now you're saying you replied within a day and gave the tracking number. You are contradicting yourself.

OP2 years agoBuyer asked for refund saying that he didn't recieve it At jul 11 and I responded to him I said it wrong in previous message . After I responded jul 12 he opend a case and within next 8 miniutes it was refunded.

OP2 years agoThank you this is the beat answer I got soo far. My apeal rejected because my account was restricted at the time . They said " your account is restricted we can't help you so we are going stick with the 1st decision". So I lost account and money too. I think theres nothing I can do now. I started ebay to pay collage fees and now I'm really screwed up. eBay only help buyers 99.9% time.

·2 years agoOK I understand now @kavrathn-20 . As @kensgiftshop and others pointed out: your bootleg DVDs did impact this case on the blank DVD-Rs. Because your account was restricted for selling illegal items, eBay did not grant your appeal. If your account was restricted at the time the buyer filed the non-receipt claim, that could be why the system closed it "within 8 minutes" as well. Your account lost seller protections due to the illegal activity. Hope that helps to answer your questions, even though I'm sure it's not the answer you were looking for.

·2 years agoSo we have here a seller selling bootleg movies and way overpriced DVDs, and then this seller is claiming that THEY are being scammed by eBay.

EDIT: I see that a previous feedback received by @kavrathn-20 alleges that the DVD was fake. And the seller did sell several copies. But the listing in question is for blank DVDs.

·2 years agoI saw (and found a cache) of 4 copies of Tarot (2024) English Movie DVD New bootlegs that were previously sold as "brand new" and in original packaging for $14.99/obo.
But those aren't the items in question here.
