Ebay is holding sellers financially responsible for USPS Tardiness
USPS has been running as long as 2-3 weeks on priority. I ship every day, in the last two months I've seen delivery times go from 2-3 days to that many weeks.
Had a buyer file "item not received" after 1 week, even though tracking shows progress. I shipped within 24 hours.
Nonetheless, Ebay is holding me financially responsible for USPS delivery times, as if I ran USPS. They put a hold on my paypal account and will refund the buyer's money.
This makes doing business on ebay impossible, and after 20 years and hundreds of thousands of dollars, I am ending that relationship.
Now hear this Ebay: I do not run the pathetic USPS. I will NOT take financial responsibility for their **bleep**, nor yours.

·1 year agoI know the TN. Main sorting Plant hub has been having issues with Ground Advantage parcel delay issues . But this is first time I have heard Priority Mail delay issues out of that hub.

Enter the tracking proving delivery and the case should resolve in your favor.
Just how it works. Claim opens. Funds auto on hold. Seller must respond.

I remember all these USPS threads from November-December 2020. I think I went to time away in the 1st week of December that year.......

I'm here because I seek the dubious distinction of being the last to reply before this thread is shut down.

·1 year agoAs you absolutely should. I have an event tomorrow and it's going to ruin a wedding because something they said would be here by today is not here today. I know you didn't sell me my item, but I bought it Monday said it would be here by today it hasn't even left the city that it was sold in. That's why eBay is starting to hold sellers responsible because we are **bleep** off.
