Ebay deducted shipping charges buyer paid, I never got $$$ or used labels...money missing
I sold car fuel injector parts for $300, the buyer paid $21 shipping = $321 But I was only paid $257 and I didn't ask for nor did I use the ebay shipping labels. so where is my money??
To make it more fun the computer algorithm flagged may parts as "emission system modification parts" and now who auction was deleted so I can't even ask for automated help on this!!

P.S. there's about 20 other parts EXACTLY LIKE MINE for sale, new, from professional vendors

·2 years agoAs mentioned take a closer look at the details of that sale. I am confident the 21 was added into the total of the order along with the sales tax (is applicable)
The Sales Tax was 'backed out' and you were left with the total minus (-) The Final Value Fees
$321.00 - (Fees) = Balance
Caution...If you're going to try and relist that item, be careful...I would recommend against it.
just curious, if the money is 'missing' where did it go?

·2 years agoGo to your sold items and click on View Order Details. You should see a breakdown of all $$ items associated with this sale, incl. ebay fees and sales taxes. I don't know what percentage fees ebay charges for auto parts. Could be 15%? That would be $48 (of $321). Sales tax 5%? Additional $16. So the total of $64 taken out of $321, which comes to $257.
About removing your item? You should probably call ebay, or someone will give you an advice. When you got en email from ebay about removing your listing, was there anything about refunding the fees? If your item violated ebay policy, maybe you will not get the fees back.
It happened to me, I had an item removed for violating ebay policy and yet there are virtually hundreds of almost identical items still on ebay. Someone referred you, or rather your item to ebay, and they took it down.

Ebay deducts fees based on the full payment made to you, after which you get the difference.
From that difference, you use the $21 the buyer paid you to either purchase the shipping label through ebay or you can purchase a shipping label at the p.o.
Either way, buyer paid you and you use money for the label.
