ebay claiming I don’t have insurance on a ESE i purchased through them?
Hey yall,
ebay either has a glitch or falsely advertises that they have $20 of insurance in the ebay standard envelope. I went to file a claim, and when i entered the number provided to me, it says it doesn’t have insurance on that item. Why would i ever use the ESE option when if it doesn’t include insurance with it. how can i get this resolved and get paid

For some reason, there is nothing visible on your eBay site.
Have you closed down your site?

If you were the buyer, you cannot file a claim, the seller must.

Filing a claim
If you believe your envelope was lost in shipping, you'll need to wait 30 days to file a claim. Claims must be filed no later than 90 days from the date the shipping label was created.
You can reduce the amount of the claim if your shipment was only partially lost or damaged, however the claim amount cannot be more than the item's sold price.
To file a claim, select the button below and add the following information to the form:

Right click on weblink above to read full policy. There are some restrictions to the policy that would void EBAY insurance coverage. If those don't apply to you, click on FILE A CLAIM link and fill necessary information.
Good luck to you.
