EBAY ADVERTISING FALSE SHIPPING RATES AGAIN ON THEIR WEBSITE???????????????

I may post this on shipping as well, I got a charge of $12.95 for a UPS for underpaid. The weight FAR under the 2lbs listed and the dimensions are always measured correctly. I paid $7.37 from EBAY shipping calculator this means i was charged $20.32 this crooked underhanded and blatant theft on someone's part Yes $7.37 appears far too low but under 400 miles away.

Needless to say I will NEVER use UPS again I paid for a smart post type service and UPS ground appeared to have delivered it regular ground to rural Missouri. This is *&^&^%%&^*( How is this possible to appeal??? To whom would i appeal to?

UPS is fraudulently overcharging on many shipments. We've had overcharges of over $500 on two occasions and started chargebacks. We are contemplating going to the local DA filing fraud charges against UPS and its stores.

I believe you Yes everything on that 1.5lb package measure correctly and now I am charged $20 total instead of $7.37 I could have used another shipper and always will in future

They hit me up for a extra $12.95 yesterday, they do what every they want. Ebay won't dispute the charge because of the contract they have with UPS. You can't dispute it on your own because you shipped it with an ebay label, ebay has to dispute it and they wont'. UPS reason for the extra charge, I put too much tape on the box.

Switch your carrier to USPS, I have never had an issue like that using them.You can try to make a claim with UPS but the odds are not in your favor, I have heard nothing but negative about claims with them, Best to switch carriers & move on.

This is not a problem you can blame on eBay. It's common with UPS and FedEx.

You've already stated the weight is FAR under 2 lbs. So when using either UPS or FedEx, always add a generous bit to the dimensions. Don't just "measure it correctly", because that opens up differences between the shipper's measurement methods and yours.

I don't find this problem with the USPS, but I still always add a tiny amount to the weight and dimensions.

Keep in mind those rates are UPS rates as in the carrier not Ebay. There is an Ebay discount but the money goes to the carrier. My recommendation would be use USPS. I have never had an issue of rate adjustment. It's whoever measured and weighed the package against yours. You can appeal through UPS. That can be a toss up. For the amount you were adjusted to I would just let it go and switch carriers.
