Duplicate shipping labels?
I have had several transactions in the last couple months where I go to print the shipping label, and I receive an error message that says something like "Something went wrong - we can't print your label at this time. please try again later". When I try again, i am able to generate the label and I ship my item. I then learn later on that I was charged twice for the shipping label. This has happened numerous times. One transaction I was charged 5 times for the shipping label. I eventually learned to cancel the unused label, but I only know that I had a duplicate label after eBay tells me they have charged my credit card for the additional label.
I think eBay needs to fix their system for generating labels, and have some AI algorithm that recognizes when a single sold item has more than one shipping label associated with it and assures no duplicate label is created.
One last topic - the online AI assistant's favorite phrase is "Something went wrong". I can't get past them to talk to a human. Any thoughts?
