Does eBay jack up the prices on next day shipping?
I don't usually do overnight shipping but occasionally a customer will ask for it. Today I'm shipping a package from Carrollton, Georgia to Orlando, Florida. The box measures 12x8x6 and it weighs 8 pounds. eBay charged $181 for the over night shipping but I only spent $59 for the overnight label. Did eBay really save me the difference or did they bump up the price for the label?

·4 months agoEbay doesn't do the charging it's the carrier. Ebay just provides you a label which you as the seller purchased for a discount. You received the $181 and purchased the $59 label so you have the money not Ebay. You as the seller charged retail cost and paid Ebay discounted rate. Maybe there was some kind of miscalculation. What you need to do then is refund your buyer the difference once shipped off.
