What happens if you have 1 day handling time and usps doesnt pick up the packages from the pick up request? Do you still get a defect on those packages?

Yes, you would receive a defect for tracking not uploaded and validated within your handling time. You may also receive a defect for late shipping once your item does receive a scan.
Depending on how many packages you scheduled for pick up that weren't picked up it may or may not affect your TRS status. Tracking validation is measured on the last 90 days.
Late shipping is last 12 months.

·1 year agoDefects are for out of stock cancellations and for cases closed without seller resolution - nothing else.
That said, your seller performance may show this under "late shipping" if the items are delivered past the estimated delivery date (EDD) window. If you get them to the carrier tomorrow and get scans, and if the items arrive before the EDD window expires, then you won't see any impact.
Even if there is an impact, you don't have a Top Rated Seller status to put at risk, and even if you did there's a tolerance allowed.
Bottom line: your account should be fine.
