Discounted shipping rates as the default rate as of October 1
Having trouble deciding whether to set the discount rate as the default. It would be more competitive for the customer. It seems sometimes the discount is so much lower and other times not a big delta. It seems like if eBay is going to use the discounted rate, which is what we will actually be paying, they should NOT charge a fee on shipping any longer.
Anyone have any thoughts?

·1 month agoFirst of all, the processing of any type of money cost money. We all pay CC processing fees...or at least merchants do and they then pass that cost along to buyers in the cost of products. On eBay sellers need to do the same thing, many ignore that cost. Now is 13% too high of a cost? We can argue that all we want. But in the end, it is spelled out and we choose to sell here or not based on that information...nothing will be free, and we should ever expect it to be
