My customer would like to check the shipping address how do I change it. He is paying for shipping fee. How do I get the new QR code with the new address.

·2 years agoUnless it's a very cheap item, shipping to a different address is not something you should consider.

·2 years agoA few months ago, I had a buyer request that a paid item be shipped to a different address than the one provided. I had to contact eBay customer support, who told me that the only thing I could do was to cancel the sale using "problem with shipping address" as the reason. Then relist the item; the buyer may then repurchase the item using the correct address.

·2 years agoFirst make sure the message came from your buyer's ID and not some random ID of a scammer that's pretending to be your buyer @pj161933_2 .
If the request came from your buyer, then as Simba said, you will lose all seller protections if you ship to a different address. Even with a delivery scan you'll be forced to refund if the buyer files a claim.
Ask the buyer if they want you to ship to the address on the order, or if they prefer you cancel the sale for them and they can re-purchase, entering their new address at checkout before they pay. They should also update their account settings if this is a permanent address change.
If the buyer opts to cancel and repurchase, you will need to void the original label to get a refund.
To void a shipping label purchased through eBay, go to this page, find the order and select Cancel from the Actions drop-down. The void option is available for 28 days.
It takes between 2-4 weeks to receive a refund on an unused, voided label as the carrier wants to make sure the label isn't used. You'll see the refund on your original source of payment (eBay funds, bank, credit card, etc) and the funds will appear in your account without an email notification.

·2 years agoThey needed to change it BEFORE they paid. At this point, you would have to cancel the sale and start over again. If you ship to another address, you lose seller protection.
